The Association welcomes members that want to increase business, develop their skills, and demonstrate to clients that they:  

• are regulated through a code of ethics and professional standards
• are free of criminal convictions
• are free of monetary judgment or other insolvency
• hold professional indemnity insurance
• are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office

In return, the ABI will provide influence at the top level to support you and your business

• We've been lobbying for regulation since the 1950s
• We liaise with the Home Office, the Information Commissioner's Office, the Law Society, Association of British Insurers and the Financial Conduct Authority and other bodies

• As a member of the ABI, you'll receive its emblem representing our virtues to proudly include in your  website and stationery
• We will include you in our broad professional search network so that people can find you with ease.
• You will have access to our membership area to expand your knowledge, share and receive instructions, and network with other like-minded professionals
